Thank you to the guys at No Cigar who put me in this crazy four full page spread interview feature! Seriously the coolest thing to happen to date. It’s their first time in print and is available to buy worldwide!

BEHIND THE SCENES WITH BENGT

Last weekend Bengt invited me along to be a fly on the wall during the SS12 and AW12 shoot. There were so many things to feast my eyes upon, I’m always keen to see what goes on on the other side and it was fun watching the Bengt girls style the looks together, whilst Lou Lou strutted back and forth in the insane platform Finsk shoes!

I’m so excited to announce that key pieces from my SS12 collection are available to buy on Bengt as of today, along with the other beautiful accessories you see accompanying the collection! The AW12 pieces you see snippets of will be available from September. I can’t wait to see you guys rocking the pieces! I’ll have to finally make some for myself too – crazy that I haven’t done that yet.

ACNE BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

I’d been meaning to do this Yellow Door press day/Acne post for a while, but after getting my new camera I stashed my old one out of sight and only just found it, it’s memory card full with last seasons press days. It must be my senile old blogger age, but I thought better late than never; plus everything you see here is available to buy now! Which is always a plus.

The leather jackets and shoes from Acne are always my favourite and this season, I fell in love particularly with the white leather pieces and the platform shoes, I’m in love with Ivania’s suede pair more than the blue silk, and even more with these mid calf boots. I found one style to be a bit of a Simone Rocha rip off (the high heeled brogue) but other than that thumbs up all round.

I warn you there may be more of these belated press days to come (sorry!) but I do quite like seeing the garments and accessories without a body to cloud your judgement; pure design appreciation is what I’m after.

NICOLAS ANDREAS TARALIS SS12

I don’t know how I’ve gone so long without knowing about this guy but I discovered Nicolas Andreas Taralis randomly this morning, whilst trawling through the final markdowns online. You can watch the video to this collection on his website and watching the way the clothes move, will make you fall in love for sure. The concept for Nicolas is simplicity; clothes stripped back to their most natural form. I’m not talking about this specific collection, which has sci-fi influences but the general aesthetic. The styling is so paired back it feels like you can wear the pieces right off the runway. I’ve been hunting to find better images for the SS12 shoes too, but above was all I could find. Still totally amazing, of course but I want to see more of the knee high white cut out boots!

RED LACE

Wearing: Craig Lawrence knitted top, Charlie May shirt, Ann Demeulemeester trousers, Erdem shoes

Heres a few snapshots of my Christmas day outfit, I hope you all had an amazing last couple of days! I’ve certainly eaten more than my weight in food, and I’ve been so happy to be down in the countryside with my family. Wearing some new additions to my wardrobe; the beautiful Erdem boots from my favourite season, scored at the Nicholas Kirkwood sample sale (a Christmas present to myself) and a beautiful knitted tee from Craig Lawrence

TREATS AT MY WARDROBE

Not just treats in the form of food at the My Wardrobe press day but lots of treats to be available to buy online very soon too. I’ve personally got my eye on the Theyskins Theory bag pictured last, which actually dropped a few days ago but sold out in the same day! Damn. All the accessories were pretty gorge, Camilla Skovgaard and Philip Lim, mmmm. I don’t know if it was just the cold either, but I seemed to have been photographing a lot of cosy looking jumpers by Acne and Burberry too. Which item is your favourite?
