A little tribute to our university tutor who nicknamed us The Demeulemeester Girls.

Pretty much everything we are wearing was bought from the Antwerp stocksales, I’m already saving up for October and have plenty more bits to show you.

 More pictures from the city I love so much; a city where every beer has it’s own glass and Freddy Kruger sells pizza. 

This was from the first day spent in Antwerp with my girl Alexxsia. We walked everywhere, soaked up the sun, sampled various Belgian beers and took in the city. 

LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN

Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien yesterday. A must visit if you go to Antwerp, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is incredible. We do have one in London, one on Goodge St and one in St Pancras International, so if you’re stuck in the country and can’t visit Belgium you have no excuse!

Back in my favourite city in the world, Antwerp.

It’s so hot here, the day has been spent sat by the river, eating ice-cream and savouring different Belgian beers.

Marie Jo L’Aventure by A.F. Vandevorst

Belgian lingerie company, Marie Jo L’Aventure, has formed a unique partnership with fellow Belgian fashion due A.F. Vandevorst to create this exclusive collection.

The great thing about this collection is the contrast between revealing and concealing, for example; Knickers with transparent legs are reminiscent of briefs worn over skin tone stockings, this creates a beautiful layered effect. Natural earth and skin tones paired with charcoal and dark grey’s are the colour palette for this collection.

A key piece in this design collection is a revamped corsage, which uses transparent tulle and a mix of colours, lines and materials to make an immaculate design piece.

The A.F. Vandevorst piece unique will be touring around Europe through September till November where after the European tour it will return to its hometown of Antwerp, Belgium where it will be exhibited in the entrance hall of the MoMu, Fashion Museum Antwerp December 7^th through to 19^th 2010.
