I know it’s been a while since the 2nd Fashion in Film festival came to Bristol but I felt it was time to share what I saw there.
My favorites were the short films, Marnie’s Handbag which was comprised from clips of over 50 films (I must watch every one of these!); Then there was The Library Kills by Platform 13 which was made of images found in the platform 13 library, telling a story of murder.
The feature length films were:
The Bird with the Crystal Plumage
A hilarious 70’s film with a PVC villain
The 10th Victim
In the near future, big wars are avoided by giving individuals with violent tendencies a chance to kill in “The Big Hunt”
The Rat
My favourite feature length, as it came with a live accompaniment that was composed just for us. For those of you who don’t know it, it is a 1920’s silent film about the Parisienne Underworld.
