THE BOX

Wearing: Ann Sofie Back coat layered over Limi Feu jacket, Edun shirt, Moxham Eygypt necklace, Acne trousers, Jack Purcell Converse, Dagmar and Helmut Lang bracelets

Whilst this outfit may seem a little extreme for the nice weather we’re sort of having at the moment, this is the kind of look you get used to in London; warm if the weather turns mean and easily shed when the sun turns a smile.

I love this new shirt by Edun, which is pretty much just a square with a collar attached, also the whole ‘cocoon with some legs sticking out and walking around’ look. Super comfortable and super layered.

MANY SHADES OF GREY

—————————————————
Wearing: Helmut Lang twisted crop and half cuff bracelet, Nicolas Andreas Taralis skirt with Charlie May satin wrap skirt underneath, Converse shoes and Miu Miu sunglasses

It’s been a hot 27 degrees here in London for the past few days, and it’s seriously made me realise how winter my wardrobe is. I managed to find this amazing Helmut Lang top stuffed away in a drawer from last year; it’s time it went back into circulation I think! My brother’s staying with me in London for a few days, which means; serious chill time in the sun, showing him around the neighbourhood and visiting favourite eateries, all before my birthday tomorrow!

SATIN AND NEOPRENE

Wearing: Stylein satin wrap dress, Philip Lim clutch, Camilla Skovgaard shoes, Backstage* rings and Helmut Lang half cuff bracelet.

I’m giving this blog an injection of some much needed TLC; I’ve been so busy with work etc that the last few blog posts have just been event after event and lacking the personal touch. A slap on the wrists and I promise to do better, starting with this outfit I wore out on Saturday night to see the ballet, for the first of Michael’s birthday celebrations. I hadn’t been since I was about 6 or 7 and it was magnificent to see the dancers/athletes perform across the stage. We went to see the English National Ballet ‘Beyond the Ballet Russes‘ which was many short stories in one (perfect for plenty of mini champagne breaks inbetween..) and with costumes originally designed by Coco Chanel. If you find yourself aimlessly roaming around London anytime soon, I would highly recommend it.

FADING OUT

Wearing: Helmut Lang knit, T by Alexander Wang tank, Ann Demeulemeester skirt and boots, Mimco bag, Dominic Jones ring.

Outfit worn on the second day of my Brussels visit; this was the outfit I nearly died tripping over down the Margiela stairs (more to come on that later), but this was quickly healed by the designer telling me how beautiful it was to see women in long skirts again. I love the fishtail on this skirt, the way is moves when walking is really elegant and quite dramatic.

 Thanks Michael for the shots!
