VALLEY OF THE ROCKS

Whilst in Devon I had the chance to explore some of the moors off the west coast, a place I’d never been too before; The Valley of the Rocks. We’d set off with a map and packed lunch, driving along some precarious roads with sheer drops down to the sea, until our destination came into sight; amazing panoramic views of rock cliffs leading down into the sea. I definitely need to explore more of England, it’s so easy to travel and forget about what’s waiting for you on home turf.

SUN, SEA AND SAND

Some pictures from yesterday before we went swimming in the sea! Saunton is my favourite beach in North Devon, a mile long with the most amazing views; we ventured past all the surfers you can see in the first picture to run into the sea and leap into the surf. Tomorrow I’m exploring a place called the ‘Valley of the rocks’ out on the moors, if I don’t come back you know where I am!

SPRING INSPIRATION

Some images I’m finding inspiring for SS13, being frantically pinned on my Pinterest boards. I’m getting excited about starting the new season and have plenty of exciting design ideas coming to mind, with HPR meetings and possible designer collaborations on the headlines; it’s all just a few months away, but for now let’s just look at these relaxing images and think fluffy thoughts. Hope you all had a great weekend!

DEVON PHOTO DIARY

What started out a photo diary ended as an encyclopaedia, so now you know Devon just as well as I do. After the chaos of fashion week I retreated back to Devon to catch up with family and friends, hit the beach, walk the dogs across the farm and relax in the calm. One of my friends just got a house right off the beach so he can dedicate more time to surfing, he doesn’t even lock his front door; totally peaceful life. I’m super lucky to be able to retreat to these places whenever I need a recharge, but London is where it’s happening. Thanks to my brother for driving me around like a crazy tourist whilst I was down!
